Thanksgiving is a great opportunity for us to enjoy a short trip in US. Therefore, we planned a trip to Philadelphia.

Located 128 miles away from DC, Philadelphia is famous for its significant status in the US history.

Set off at 8:30, Shu was still sleeping, no matter how we called him. We have no way but left this lazy guy home.

Alone Route 95, bypassing Baltimore and Wilmington, leaving Maryland, crossing Delaware, then entering Pennsylvania. Never drove such a long trip in China, 2.5 hours’ driving really get me a little tired.

At noon, we reached the Chinatown in Philadelphia.

Chinatown is really not a nice place here in US, crowd and dirty. A lot of Asians, judging from what they were wearing, some of them seems really poor.

Philadelphia contains many national historical sites that relate to the founding of the United States. Independence National Historical Park is the center of these historical landmarks. Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed, and the Liberty Bell are the city’s most famous attractions. Other historic sites include homes for Edgar Allan Poe and Betsy Ross and early government buildings like the First and Second Banks of the United States.

体育馆完全是一个充满肾上腺激素的地方, 美国人high的一塌糊涂. 估计来了2-3万人.

07年8月11日晚7：30，767降落在弗吉尼亚的washington Dulles, 看着窗外类似的机场建筑，我问自己难道今天我就在美国了？一个人travel没什么好，就是可以好好休息。不过在到旧金山的747上，一帮中国学生在我边上打牌，哈high, NND闹死了，真够丢人的。中国人普遍喜欢一到目的地就站起来拿包，准备下去，在去旧金山的飞机上就是这样。我看一大帮人起来拿包了，我也去拿，乘务员叫了好几次说飞机尚未停稳，请先坐座位上，不知道是听不懂还是不鸟她，还是大多数人都站着。我马上坐了下去，妈的刚来美国就丢人了。后来在来华盛顿的767上，我等到最后一个才站起来。

拿着行李出了飞机，经过17个小时的飞行加转机，我倒还不是很累。看着外面飘展的星条旗, 我确定自己是踏在美国国土上了。看着边上形形色色的人, 只有我是亚裔, 原来以为我会很兴奋, 不过真的到了, 还是一般, 没有特别的什么感觉. 原来在中国, 我这些英语也够用了, 不过到了这里, 全是英文, 就不太行了. 完全不认识路, 问了几个人虽然讲得很清楚, 但还是没完全听明白. 不管了, 反正先沿着luggage claim 去找行李。

在等行李时，有人拍了拍我问我是不是felix, 这个时候的兴奋完全大于刚到美国的新鲜感。于是我就认识了在美国的第一个人，longfei, 不知道他中文字怎么写，他竟然能找到我，不过那班飞机上似乎也只有我是大陆来的。行李很倒霉，一个到了，另一个落在旧金山了。后来几天后还是这个帅哥从richmond开车过来带我过去拿的。真要谢谢这个帅哥。

07年8月11日晚，我终于到了美国。
